About 8580 Haus.

To renew STAMMTISCH

/Stámmtisch/
Substantiv, maskulin [der]

The goal of 8580 Haus was to create a design studio that revolved around the German words Stammtisch. Stammtisch means People sitting around a table, drinking, eating, discussing the world, discussing their little village. Usually once a week. That’s what the German word “Stammtisch“ describes. It’s been a tradition for centuries, primarily found in miniature German villages.

Belonging to a “Stammtisch“ means belonging to a community

8580 Haus is about traditions, craftsmanship, old trades

about a meaningful together, sharing, depending on each other

about long-lasting products, methods and services

about a true “together“

WE ARE...

A collective of designers creating products in Berlin with a passion for traditional German crafts and values. As a group, we refuse to follow fast trends and fads; instead, we forge our own path, which reflects our unique perspectives with passion, care, and great detail.

The Bavarian forest is the biggest harvested forest in Germany, and it is also where all my wood sources are from.

Frame 293 (2).png

I am creating handcrafted wooden furniture that are aesthetically inspired by modern simplicity. I aim to blend the inherent rawness of natural wood with meticulous fine woodworking craftsmanship, resulting in a reinvigorated creation.

Why modern simplicity?
